About Department of Islamic Studies

The Department of Islamic Studies was established in 1965. It was a part of the Higher Teachers College, then it was merged with the (Department of Arabic Language) under the name of (Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies). In (2008) became independent from (Department of Arabic Language). The department teaches Islamic sciences and related sciences, such as grammar, morphology and rhetoric.

Tarek Alshibani is one of the staff members at the department of 7 faculty of 13. He is working as a since 2006-02-14. He teaches several subjects in his major and has several puplications in the field of his interest.
