Within the frameworks of WHEEL (Network for the Modernization of the Higher Education Sector in Libya) project and the Erasmus+ Program under the supervision of the European Union, the International Cooperation Office (ICO) at the University of Tripoli convened a workshop titled “Quality Assurance System in Higher Education” on Tuesday 11/8/2020 at 10:00 AM Malim Bin Nabi Hall, close to Higher Education Library. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Mohamed Al-Griw, Director of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Office at the University of Tripoli. The workshop has discussed several important topics on Quality Assurance, such as national quality assurance system, internal quality assurance system in higher education, and mechanisms and strategies for implementing internal quality system in educational institutions. There were also fruitful discussions in which the attendees addressed the mechanisms of developing the current higher education system in Libya with regard to quality and improvement and performance efficiency.
